What we collect

Copsely is built to need as little personal information as possible:

An anonymous account. When you visit, we automatically create an anonymous session so we can remember your daily seed timer — this does not require an email, password, or name.
The trees you plant. Each tree's position on the grid is stored publicly — this is a shared, public grid by design.
Basic technical data (like general device/browser type) that our hosting and database providers collect automatically to keep the site running securely.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email, or address to use the site. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising, and we don't sell any data to third parties.

How we use it

To enforce the one-seed-per-24-hours rule fairly
To display the shared grid and site-wide statistics to all visitors

Third-party services we use

Supabase — our database and authentication provider. See Supabase's privacy policy.
Netlify — hosts the website itself.

Children's privacy

Copsely is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us at the address below and we'll remove it.

Your choices

Since accounts are anonymous, there's no login to delete — clearing your browser's data will reset your local session. If you'd like a specific tree removed, contact us at the email below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
